Scandi Gift Wrapping Ideas

One of my favourite things to do at Christmas time is wrap all our presents and put them under the tree. I find that taking a bit more time and care with wrapping makes the whole gift giving experience even more magical. It's so cool to see the recipient's face when they pick up their gift and realise how much love has gone into preparing it.

I've been lucky enough to team up with Scotch® again this year, to create some beautiful gift wrapping ideas. For this project I've featured two tapes, both of which are available here (NZ) and here (Aus):

  • Scotch® Gift Wrap Tape - I've used this tape to add a layered pocket effect to your wrapping. This tape is also a lovely option for general wrapping because it's satin finish means it disappears on most styles of gift wrap.
  • Scotch® Double Sided Tape -  This is such a great tape for adding pretty little details to your packages, as a tidy and easy alternative to glue. You can also use it to wrap your gifts really beautifully, because the tape will be hidden under the seams.

I also used:

  • Wrapping paper - I used kraft paper combined with Rifle Paper Co designs
  • Any other embellishments you want - like greenery, butchers twine and gift tags. I find that fresh or dried eucalyptus fits the style really well.

I hope you love these gift wrapping styles as much as I do, and feel inspired to give them a go this festive season.

Enjoy and Merry Christmas!
